DeAnne Sheehan
DeAnne received a Master of Arts in Speech Communications and Theatre from Wayne State University. She is an Account Executive at Lotus Broadcasting which owns eight radio stations in Las Vegas, including 92.3 KOMP, 97.1 The Point KXPT, DEPORTES KENO, 920 SPORTS, ESPN 98.9 and 1100, KRLV, KLAV and La Buena
DeAnne received the Las Vegas Chamber of Commerce Community Achievement Award in 2003. She was named one of the 100 most influential women in Nevada over the past 100 years. She was also named to the Nevada Broadcasters Hall of fame in 1999.
DeAnne Founded the Electronic Media Awards which awards scholarships to UNLV and CSN. She also founded the Advertising Community Talent show, an annual event that gives 100% of the proceeds to Safe Nest. A charity that works toward the eradication of domestic violence.
DeAnne received a life-time achievement award from the Nevada Broadcasters in 2008.
Beverly Salhanick
Beverly Salhanick attended Mount Holyoke College in South Hadley, Massachusetts. She subsequently attended Vanderbilt University School of Law in Nashville, Tennessee graduating with a Juris Doctor in 1986. She has also studied at Harvard University and Boston University.
Ms Salhanick is licensed in Nevada, California, the Federal District of Nevada, the Northern, Central and Southern Federal Districts of California, the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals and the United States Supreme Court.
Ms Salhanick has practiced since 1986 and has been a sole practitioner since 1996. Her practice encompasses general civil litigation; commercial collections; commercial litigation; creditor work in bankruptcy; intellectual property and probate.
She is a member of the American Association for Justice (AAJ) and is the Nevada Liaison to the AAJ Women’s Caucus. She is a past member of the Board of Governors of Nevada Trial Lawyers Association; a past member of the Board of Trustees of New Vista Communities and a past member of the Board of Directors of Nevada Microenterprise Initiative. She presently serves as a Trustee for the Benevolent and Protective Order of Elks, Lodge #1468. In 2003, Nevada Trial Lawyers Association awarded her the Badger Award for distinguished service to the people of Nevada. She has served on the ADR Implementation Committee of the State Bar of Nevada by appointment by the Nevada Supreme Court; the Continuing Education Committee of the Clark County Bar Association; the Board of Directors for the Clark County Traffic School and the Medical Malpractice Screening Panel. She presently sits as an Arbitrator in the Court Annexed Arbitration Program and as a Judge Pro Tem in the Short Trial Program. She is also on the Board of Directors of the Population Research Foundation, Inc. She is a member of The General Bar.
Ms Salhanick initiated a program with the Legal Aid Center of Southern Nevada to bring the “Ask A Lawyer” program to low income business owners.
